Liturgy Ministries

The Liturgy is at the very heart of parish life. For it is in the liturgy, that “the work of our redemption is accomplished,” and especially in the divine sacrifice of the Eucharist, that the faithful “may express in their lives, and manifest to others, the mystery of Christ and the real nature of the true Church” (Sacrosanctum Concilium ¶2). This will best be accomplished, if “. . . the entire celebration is planned in such a way that it leads to a conscious, active, and full participation of the faithful both in body and mind, a participation burning with faith, hope and charity(GIRM Chapter I, ¶18).

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings

From 8:00 am until 9:00 am

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings

From 7:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

The power of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament can change lives, bring healing and advance the Kingdom of heaven on earth.   In the words of Saint Pope John Paul II -

“”The worship of the Eucharist outside of the Mass is of inestimable value for the life of the Church. This worship is strictly linked to the celebration of the Eucharistic Sacrifice…It is the responsibility of pastors to encourage, also by their personal witness, the practice of Eucharistic adoration, and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in particular, as well as prayer of adoration before Christ present under the Eucharistic species…This practice, repeatedly praised and recommended by the Magisterium, is supported by the example of the saints…St. Alphonus Liguori, who wrote: “Of all devotions, that of adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the greatest after the sacraments, the one dearest to God and the one most helpful to us”” (#25).
